To start-off with the Organic Manure Experiment

The student enthusiasts of Organic Farming observed that ADBU Tapesia Campus and DBU Cafe are richly provided with raw materials (twigs, dry leaves, green weeds/leaves, topsoil, vegetable peels and rice gruel) for making organic manure (Compost heap and Vermicompost) which could be thereby utilised for growing Organic Food Crop in the Bio-intensive raised beds. Thus with the collaboration with the DBU Cafe, a few group of students at the initial stage desire to experiment in the ADBU campus. 


The following are the required items:
1. A plot of land for making the compost heap.
2. A 50-litre water container to mix manure water.
3. Two Spades
4. One Knife
5. A Mug (to pour manure water)
6. Vermicompost (five Thermocol box)
7. Five small bamboo-shades made with thatch for the vermicompost.
8. Spay for organic pesticide
9. A 5-litre pot to boil organic pesticide
10. Plastic Sacks (20) and 4 jute sacks
11. Water (when vermicompost and bed is made).
12. Bamboo (dry bamboo for the bamboo bio-char and for the sides of the raised beds).
13. (To start-off some amount cow dung will be getting from the Hatimura Village by the students). 
14. Preserve the Rice Gruel in a tank or big water container
15. Preserve the bio-degradable waste (vegetable peels and egg shells)
