(Musing on Samir Bordoloi’s vision of Ecological Farming in North East) Northeast India being richly blessed with natural land resources, the Government of India is promoting the whole region to grow organic food for the people of India. The youths could launch out as Agripreneurs to produce good food and sustain their livelihood through ecological farming practices. There is a greater need to give value to our land and grow healthy food. Sustainable mode of production: The harmful effects of the accelerated mode of production could be seen in terms of health problems among the consumers and degradation of the quality of soil which even has cost the lives of many farmers in many parts of the country. This same mistake should not be allowed to repeat in the name of Organic Food Production in the region. Therefore, in a very careful way, the farmers of the region have to play a crucial role in meeting the demands of the country while preventing the over-exploitation of natura...

The student enthusiasts of Organic Farming observed that ADBU Tapesia Campus and DBU Cafe are richly provided with raw materials (twigs, dry leaves, green weeds/leaves, topsoil, vegetable peels and rice gruel) for making organic manure (Compost heap and Vermicompost) which could be thereby utilised for growing Organic Food Crop in the Bio-intensive raised beds. Thus with the collaboration with the DBU Cafe, a few group of students at the initial stage desire to experiment in the ADBU campus.  The following are the required items: 1. A plot of land for making the compost heap. 2. A 50-litre water container to mix manure water. 3. Two Spades 4. One Knife 5. A Mug (to pour manure water) 6. Vermicompost (five Thermocol box) 7. Introduction: Mary Clubwala Jadhav  (1909-1975) was an Indian philanthropist and a recipient of India's civilian honour  Padma Shri . She has been the reason behind the awakening of the dawn of several NGOs in  Chennai  and the rest of the country. Often credited with setting up the oldest organized social work bodies in India; her contribution is unparallel. Her organization Guild of Service operates more than a dozen units related to the orphanage, Female Literacy, Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled etc. She has been honoured with  Padma Vibhushan , the second highest civilian honour of India in 1975.  A.     Her Life Mary was born in 1909 in Ootacamund in the then Madras Presidency to Rustom Patel and Allamai, member of the 300-strong Parsi community of Madras city. It's a very reader-friendly book meant for the students. The book has some 100 and few more pages and so one can cover up in one go. Towards the end, the author has added some ways of practicing Yoga. A lot of practical tips and encouragement are given to students and few words for the parents and teachers as well. After having read his biography by Karen Blumenthal, I realized that the Real Apple is Steve Jobs. He was born out of wedlock of college students. The boy was of a Syrian origin, thus the parents of the girl, Joanne Schieble, did not accept the child. The young boy was adopted by a couple, Clara and Paul Jobs, on condition that they would give him college studies. Jobs grew up as an inquisitive and restless kid. He did not like any structured way of life. Therefore school did not provide him a suitable environment to grow and learn. As a young teenager, he had lots of adventures and he was a person who was always in search of something where he could give his heart and soul.
